What a scam website report looks like
Browse the list of reported scam websites and open one: a brand-new domain, a phishing report and no customer history add up to a high-risk score.
What this check looks at
How old the domain is
Fake shops are usually registered weeks before they start advertising. We show the exact registration date from the public registry.
Copycat and bait names
Names like "brand-outlet-sale" or "official-store-clearance" are a classic sign of fake websites imitating real brands.
Security certificate
Real businesses almost always use a valid HTTPS certificate. A missing or broken one is a strong warning sign.
Real customer reviews
What people say after they paid. Fake sites collect complaints about orders that never arrive.

How can I tell if a website is fake?
Check when the domain was registered, look for a real address and returns policy, compare prices with well-known stores and read independent reviews. A site that is only a few weeks old, sells brand goods at 70 to 90% off and has no reviews anywhere else is very likely fake.
Is this fake website checker free?
Yes. Every check is free and you do not need an account.
Can a fake website have a padlock?
Yes. Security certificates are free, so many fake shops have one. The padlock only means the connection is encrypted, not that the seller is honest.
